Using an existing content from a steam iron's instructional manual to create a connotative poster. This poster is supposed to be expressive, painterly, emotive, illustrative, and as well as both typographical and experimental. Asking questions, like does it spin, emit sound, bend or remain still? Is it large or small? Quiet or loud? Is it associated with an action or emotion? Asking these questions helps me to communicate through typography and determine the characteristics that guide the design decisions to create this particular poster.
