while i was in hong kong in november my mama took me, my bro bro and my sistah to cityplaza where they hosted a charming miniature exhibition of old style hong kong. it was absolutely amazing and cute!!! i can’t even imagine how much skills, observation, and patience that the artists gave in to these models. they were so detailed and real i felt like i was a giant standing over the city.
i went to nyc for the very first time. when i was there i was surprised how filthy and gross the city is, especially the subways! i do love the random musicians playing in the subways. they make me feel good and forget about the rats crawling around the tracks. i was super duper surprised what an early bird this city is! besides bars and dance clubs, everything else closes at 9pm. i’m the kind of girl that likes to go out and eat a delicious meal at 2am and then go shopping before bed. “the city that never sleeps” is a total disappointment. but who knows…maybe i was in the wrong neighborhood? i spend most of the time getting lost and being overwhelmed with everything. there was also a lack of graffiti, which i did not expect. but then again, who knows! i was probably in the wrong neighborhood! the food was good, the women got style, and the men randomly calls you beautiful. if i ever get a chance to live in nyc, i would love to live in a glass box in williamsburg. it’s filled with cute cafes, cute bars and cute vintage shops! nyc, i will see you later!
my Brother and i went to Point Reyes Lighthouse, about 2 hour drive from san francisco. the drive was beautiful and so was the 300 steps to the lighthouse. it was so foggy that i couldn’t look out to the distance even when i tried to squint my eyes. it was like the movie The Mist. we asked the lady working at the information center when is the best time to visit when it’s not so foggy. she replied with every time is the best time, ’cause every time there will be fog…
